Personal Coaching is a one-on-one partnership between a client and a coach. A coach assists the client in discovering what he or she wants in all dimensions of his or her life. Therefore, Coaching addresses the whole person with an emphasis on producing a more fulfilled, more balanced, and more effective and happier life.
By developing strategies, healthier relationships, and plans, a client will learn how to better achieve his or her determined goals. The structure of Life Coaching helps monitor a client’s progress, which in turn holds him or her accountable for his or her actions. Together, they evolve and modify the plan to best suit the client's needs. A coach often acts as a human mirror for a client by sharing outside and unbiased perspectives. Coaches teach the client specific insights and skills to empower him or herself.
Health Coaching is a way to help individuals "manage" their illnesses and conditions, especially those of chronic nature. Although very similar to a personal coach, a health coach primarily focuses on a client’s physical wellness, assisting him or her to change negative behavioral patterns.
Relationship Coaching empowers individuals to re-examine how they are and what their needs are in relationships. The goal of Relationship Coaching is for the client to identify how to attract a compatible long-term partner. This is done by not only focusing on the partner’s character, but also on the client’s needs and tendencies. At times, while working with an individual, it is necessary to do couples work to strengthen the relationship in every aspect—not just one-sided.
Conflict Coaching is used for matrimonial and other relationship matters. It is one of many conflict management tools for helping people resolve conflict in relationships—personal and professional. Conflict provides an opportunity to improve relationships and attain other positive outcomes when differences arise between and among people. A coach acts a facilitator for both parties to maintain a safe, productive environment to communicate.
